Hey y’all, its Fall!
I know this, not because of the weather, but because I took pictures in a lumberjack red flannel. Now, if that doesn’t say, “hey, it’s Fall!” to you, then you might not understand seasons.
October 5th: My Fall Bucket List…
(Read the original Blogtober 2014 post here!)
A bucket list is never something I’ve really had the urge to create. I’m normally the kind of person that just does the things she “dreams” of doing. Unless it’s something completely unrealistic like getting a job – or keeping one.
That’s exactly why creating a Fall themed bucket list proved to be incredibly difficult. Why on earth would I have “a number of experiences or achievements that a person hopes to have or accomplish during their lifetime” for Fall?
I guess this is what girls do and least the ones that live their lives centered around social media/blogging.
Alright, enough rambling about why I don’t have a Fall bucket list. Here’s my Fall bucket list!
Be honest, how sad did that list make you feel? It took me almost an hour to come up with the most boring Fall bucket list of all time. And now, I’m going to continue to talk about it in more detail.
Make Vegan Chili
This is probably one of the greatest gifts that Olivia has given me. Her recipe for meatless chili is easy and delicious – perfect for any day, but especially a crisp Fall afternoon. I will definitely share the recipe with y’all soon.
Visit a Pumpkin Patch
Photo ops, donuts and cider, who doesn’t want to go to the pumpkin patch? It’s basically a bloggers dream and if you like to eat, its great for you too.
Enjoy the Outdoors
Half of these bucket list items are based around me having opportunities to take pictures for the internet. A girl and her dog enjoying the outdoors? Name a better Instagram composition than that. Leaves changing colors, boots, coffee, all the things for a perfectly staged “walk in nature.”
Spending Time with Friends
Now this item is real. I have so much planned for the month of October. I’m going to my first wrestling match? I’m not sure why, some how I got talked into this… and I’m pretty much game for anything these days. So, now I’m going to wrestling.
We’re going to at least three different awesome concerts… I can’t even contain my excitement. You might think the shine of attending shows would be wearing thin, since I’ve been to so many this summer, but you would be totally wrong.
Most excitingly, Mike, Craig, and I are going to New York City at the end of the month for an adventure weekend! It’s been so long since I’ve been… I can’t wait to see the dinosaurs and the mummies and all the buildings and traffic!
It is going to be a weekend of firsts, my first time going to the city without Aaron, my first time staying in an AirBnb, and Mike’s first time experiencing the city for real (not just the park 🙄).
I am seriously pumped for Fall and I hope you’re looking forward to hearing all about it.
Am I ridiculous? Is this normal? What’s on your Fall bucket list?
