Y’all, it’s finally time! With the help of Patrón, a lot of dedication, and millions of limes, I have it all figured out. For clarity, “all” refers to my hopes and dreams of crafting my favorite Spicy Margarita at home… It has been learned, perfected, and then mastered. Ahh! I’m so excited to share the recipe with you today.

But before we dive right in, how about a little background? Just a little, I promise. 👌🏼

Ever since we started traveling full time almost two years ago, I have been religiously trying different margaritas all around the country. I have had house margaritas, patron margaritas, fancy ones with prickly pear, and out of them all, my favorites have always been the spicy ones.

Two years is a long time, don’t panic about how many margaritas I’ve been drinking. Everything is cool. 😂

So, after some (or a lot) trial and error, I’ve figured out what I like and what I don’t like. I now understand what works, and what doesn’t work. For example, there are some things in the recipe that can be doubled (tequila) and the jalapeño is not one of them — trust me.

Get ready to muddle, because this is the only recipe you’ll ever need to have your very own life changing margarita experience.

By the way, if you’re not a fan of jalapeños or spicy in general, this drink is still fantastic if you just leave them out!
